Ball Mastery - Spring 25

It's time for Raiders Spring Supplemental Soccer!

Everyone loves good competition, but it’s really hard to develop skills in a match. Typically in a 40-minute match, the average player will touch the ball for 1-3 minutes. Total! And don’t forget the opposing players who will try to ensure that your child does not get the chance to improve. And if he/she is playing U5-U6, then they’re probably going to have to fake out their own teammates as well since they, too, are trying to get the ball for themselves. Those conditions are pretty tough to overcome in order to improve at this “amazing game”.

The players that we see improving the most are those who take training as seriously, if not more seriously than the matches all while having fun at the same time. We have formed a great partnership with our training partners to keep the registration fee very low!

Our supplemental Ball Mastery and Pre-travel programs run weeknights for 6 weeks. The Spring 2025 sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays at Polk Street School. See session dates and times for each age group below.

Session Dates and Times:

Tuesdays 4/29, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10

U5 - U8 - 6:00 - 7:00pm

In a single 60-minute session, your child will have a ball at their feet nearly the entire time, or for about 4 seasons’ worth of gameplay given the information above. That’s time for a lot of improvement!

Raiders Travel Soccer - Fall 2025 Tryout

Franklin Square Raiders Travel Team Tryouts - Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 seasons

Franklin Square Raiders offer competitive travel soccer programs at U8 - U14 age groups. These programs are more competitive than our recreational soccer programs targeted to more advanced players. This registration is for a travel team tryout for the opportunity to be offered a roster spot for the Fall 2024 season. As our travel soccer programs are competitive, not all players are guaranteed a roster spot for the Fall.
