Franklin Square Raiders Soccer Club is proud to be one of the only clubs in the area to offer a fun, recreational soccer program for older players up to the U13 age group. Our Division III program continues the development of foundational soccer skills through fun 7v7 and/or 9v9 "pick-up" style live game play. The program is for U11 / U12 / U13 Players born between January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2014.
Program Details:Division III is a coed program for players U11 / U12 / U13The U11 / U12 / U13 division (or “under 11 / 12 / 13” division) is for players born in 2012, 2013, and 2014Division III soccer is an 8-week Sunday morning program, and is the only competitive Intramural program at the club with league standings and end-of-year playoffRoyal Sporting professional soccer trainers will continue to focus on foundational skills and advanced concept development through focused training sessions teaching ball mastery, dribbling, passing, shooting and technical footworkDivision III continues the development and practical application of team play concepts through 7v7 and/or 9v9 game play - positions/roles, spacing, checking in, building out, possession, team attacking and team defendingEach Division III session will be 70 minutes in duration, including a 15-minute training session followed by a 55-minute competitive game
Field Location: Sewanhaka High School (field locations subject to change based on permitting / availability)Space is limited and requests for specific teammates or coaches will not be granted.
Session Start Times:The Division III Program is scheduled for Sundays at 10:10 A.M. and 11:20 A.M. start timesGame times are subject to change due to registrations and field space availability
Uniform Information:Registration DOES NOT include a uniform. Your child’s uniform must be purchased at 1001 Jericho Turnpike,New Hyde Park, NY.516-437-6403.Inform Sport Loft that you have registered for the Franklin Square Raiders Intramural Program.
Equipment Needed:A size 4/5 soccer ball, shin guards, and soccer cleats are required.
Registration Fee: $180.00 Registration will CLOSE on March 25, 2025
Late registration cannot guarantee placement on a team if the session has filled to capacity.All Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. All new registrants may be asked to provide proof of age.
